Tony was one the founding members of the first UK law firm to be owned and managed by a non lawyer. First Time Entrepreneurs have different needs. Entrepreneurship is commonly seen as a trial and error based learning process. Till recently you were not expected to get a business going till your 3rd or 4th time. Thankfully, times are changing. Mainstream business research has focused on cracking the entrepreneurial code for some years now. The results of the research are starting to make their way into the mainstream. The impact of this science based approach is that the 90% failure rates are starting to fall. The needs of the entrepreneurs are more widely understood. How business support providers engage with entrepreneurs is also changing. This post focuses on the startup workshops Blooming Founders is organising for first time female entrepreneurs.
